Friends, the end of the race is drawing near. I have less than 3 months left which is a hard concept for me to grasp at this point. I’ve been trying to come up with a good, fancy, catchy way to say this but there really isn’t a good or comfortable way to go about asking the dreaded question… so I am just going to come out and say it….I am running low on funds.

I’ve already had to do the whole fundraising thing, and Jesus blew my mind in how fast support came in and how many people were more than willing to reach out to me and support me in this. So I humbly come before you again and ask for you to prayerfully consider supporting me these last 3 months, whether it’s $5 or $30. If you are interested in supporting me financially, please let me know. Your money would go towards…

Personal funds – to buy the necessity items such as food, shampoo, deodorant and all those things.

Bar ministry – this is part of our ministry this month. In order to get in the bar and meet and talk with these girls it requires us to buy drinks (us and them), which are not cheap. A huge part of this ministry is building relationships with these girls, and for that to happen, we want to be able to hang out with them outside of the bar whether that is taking them out for breakfast or meeting up with them for a cup of coffee or some ice cream.

Ticket home – since the end of the race is drawing near, I also need to start thinking about getting home. Once I’m back in the states I will be responsible for paying for my way home out of pocket. We still don’t have our return date or know where we are flying into so I don’t yet have a specific amount to tell you for this but I will keep you posted as I know more.

If you would like your money to go towards a specific thing, please let me know.

While I’m at it, can I just say a humongous thank you to all of you!?

For you who have sent me random messages and emails along the way, whether it was just to check in or encourage me or just let me know you’ve been praying for me. I am terrible at responding sometimes but I read every word and my day is made a little bit brighter every time.

Thank you to those who have prayed here and there, once a month, once a week, or every day. Thank you. We seriously cannot do this without you all. It is such a humbling and beautiful thing to know the community of prayer warriors we have from back home and from people all over the world. You really are an army of warriors and you really do make all the difference.

Thank you to you who have given $5, $20, $75, $300, $500, or $1,000. Literally I would not be in Chiangmai, Thailand without you. But it’s not just about me being here. It’s about the fact that you believe and trust in me enough to send me. You believe in this mission. You believe in furthering the kingdom. When you sent me you allowed me to discover more about who god is. To discover more about who I am, and more importantly, who he says I am. To learn what living in community is. To travel. To see the world. And it has forever changed my whole life. The beautiful thing about the race is that this is just the beginning of something amazing. Its only a chapter in the book. This year will forever impact the way I live the rest of my life and the way I pursue my relationship with Jesus.

I will never be able to express to each of you how deeply you have impacted my life by sending me and being a part of this with me.

 Much love,

Kaci
