I still am having a hard time believing that this is real life. I often ask myself, am I really doing this? Am I really going on the World Race?? It just hasn’t sunk in yet. And probably won’t until I first step foot in another country! This is real life though. I am really going on the World Race. Things are in full swing. Support letters are in the works and will be sent out tomorrow. I am sharing tonight about my trip with a group of people. I am sharing with a church the first part of November. This is real. And it is SO exciting!
With a commitment to a trip this big comes a big financial commitment. To be quite honest, it freaks me out. In fact, when I first found out four years ago how much going on this trip cost I immediately decided that going on this trip was not even an option for me. There was no way I could come up with that amount of money.
It was such an intimidating number for me.
But since then, God has shown me time and time again just how good of a provider He is for my needs. When what I do have, hasn’t seemed enough and I didn’t see any other options, the Lord has provided every penny needed and then some. I sit here and try to think of a time when the Lord has let me down, not just financially but in regards to my needs in general, I can’t think of once. Not one single time can I think of that God didn’t come through me. Not once has He left me hanging. It may not have looked like I thought it would–but that is a different topic for a different time. 🙂 The point is, He takes such good care of His children, often times providing for our needs before we even knew we needed it.
So why should I think this would be any different?
God has put this trip so strongly on my heart, and I am completely confident not that I myself can come up with the needed funds, but that He will provide the funds. I know that it is impossible for me to do this on my own. So now I ask you, something that is hard for me to do sometimes -okay, most of the time – for your help. Would you please prayerfully consider partnering with me and joining me in this ministry called the World Race? There are a few ways you can do so.
Prayers. I desperately need your prayers. Yes, money will get me overseas, but I am going to need your support through prayer beginning now to the time I am stepping back on American soil after being gone for 11 months. Prayer is such a vital part of this ministry. If you would like to commit to praying for me, please send me an email at [email protected]. I will send out an email every now and then letting you know of very specific ways in which you can be praying for me and my team. I will also share with you praise reports and update you on how God is answering your prayers!
Financially. If you feel led to give financially, first of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thank you Jesus! Here is how you can do so:
1) Click on the “Support Me” tab to the left under my picture. Please note that there is a processing fee for all donations, including monthly donations.
2) By check. Good news – there are no processing fees this way! If you should choose to give via check please make it out to Adventures in Missions and send it to the below address. Also, be sure to write my name (Kaci Eccles) in the memo line, that way it is sure to make it to my account!

3) Pure Charity. If you like to shop online, be sure to check this website out. It allows you to shop at all the places you would normally shop, but a percentage of what you spend (depending on which store you are shopping at) is put in a giving fund, which if you so choose, can go to me! For more details, please visit the website at https://www.purecharity.com/worldrace-kacieccles. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me!
4) DynaPay. If you are donating monthly, I recommend this. There is no processing fee this way! To give via DynaPay go to http://www.adventures.org/dynapay.

It is more encouraging than anything to be surrounded by so many people who are sharing with me in excitement and anticipation about what God is going to do through this trip, as well as those who are praying for me. You, my wonderful friends and family, are just as much a part of this trip as I am in so many ways. So whether you give financially or not, I would still love more than anything to share this journey with you. Thank you so much for being in this with me!
If you haven’t yet, be sure to subscribe to my blog! 🙂
