I didn’t know what to title this blog so “here’s the deal”…I just wanted to take a few minutes and share with you guys about some upcoming World Race things….
First up:
Kaci’s World Race 5K Run/Walk & BBQ!
April 5th – 10:30am – Santa Fe Park in Chanute, Ks – Cost is $20
To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration forms need to be turned in by THIS Friday, March 21st! You can pay the fee when you turn in your registration form or on race day. Registration will go through April 5th, but I can’t promise you that you’ll get a t-shirt if you sign up after the 21st! Let me know if you need a registration form and I will get one to you!
Please please please help us spread the word! Tell all of your family and friends and have all of your friends tell their friends and etc.

63 $100 Givers!
At the end of January, I needed 63 people to give $100 in order to help me be fully funded before I leave in July. Guess what! That number is now 44! If I have 42 people give $100 before July, I will be FULLY FUNDED! How amazing is that?! This amount can be given in one donation, or you can split it up into monthly donations between now and July. If you started this month, that would be $25 per month! )Yep, July is only 4 months away – crazy!) If you feel led to be one of the 42 remaining people, please let me know!
T-Shirts, T-Shirts, T-Shirts
I sure do love t-shirts, can you tell? 🙂 I still have some 11n11 shirts to sell if you would like to purchase one. They are $20. I am not at home right now to look and see what sizes are left, but if you are interested in purchasing a shirt let me know what size and I’ll get back with you!
***Through Christmas and birthday presents, REI gift cards, and very generous people, I have purchased or been given my sleeping pad and sleeping bag, tent, headlamp, hammock, pack and backpack, pillow, and my plane ticket to Georgia for training camp (which is exactly two months from today!!). There will still be some other items for me to purchase as far as gear goes, but I do believe I have all of my “big” items which is absolutely amazing! Thank you to all who gave towards or purchased any of the above items!
If you have been following my journey so far and praying for me as I’ve been fundraising 16,000+ dollars and preparing for the Race, we are in the final homestretch, financially! Can you believe it!?! I sure can’t. It has and continues to blow me away how the Lord is truly providing every little thing – He is taking care of every single detail. And it is such a joy to have so many incredible people in this with me. Thank you SO much for going with me on this journey! I can’t thank you enough. God is so stinkin’ awesome!!!
