Worrying about tomorrow!
Today I was able to think about after the race. My hopes thoughts desires and god dreams. Soon a bunch of anxiety rushed in with so much unknowns.
So i thought what better place to share and have people pray for me. 1 John 1:3 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to god, And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I ask that you pray for my future. I recently had someone share they saw me on a motorcycle having many paths to take and God was going to be with me no matter the path I took.
My first prayer is to follow God. To go where he is or where he wants to go. On the world race I have been reminded how I can be a light and encourager. I want to continue with this where ever I go.
My second prAyer is who will receive me well. I have had a great community for at least the past 5 years. I pray that continues. Coming home I will have stories to tell and stories I have missed!
My third prayer is there will be work to be done. I pray for my farm daily. I am blessed with awesome parents and a god who owns and cares for all the things in the world including our farm. We are called to be good stewards of His stuff. ” Not one little bird will fall to the ground unless God allows it to happen” I forget this many times on the farm.
My fourth prayer is traveling again. Not just seeing new places and the excitement this brings. But, Now i have old places I could visit. Friends in far off countries and friends across the country. God knows all this and he knows the power of encouragement. I pray that i can maintain friendships and see my friends face to face. I have big dreams, God thinks I have small dreams. Psalm 34:8. ” OH Taste and see that God is good, blessed is the man who trusts in him.” Thanks for prayer! Currently last month in Africa and then off to Dominican Republic.
We are working directly with aim that is in swazi. Cool stuff and i am working on agriculture currently tearing and rebuilding green houses. The country is in a big drought! Food prices could increase by 60percent!! Yikes
