What does God look like in India? Let me take you back three weeks when i arrived to India. On our first walk, we walked the streets my nose found the local trees blossoming and the neighbor pig wallowing in the mud. My ears found the honks of busy autos on the streets and kids playing in the distance. However my eyes saw the people, people in every corner and on every step. So i decided i would watch and wait and look for God in all the people i saw.
God is the the person who watches over 15 children with disabilities daily being the mother and watching her interact with them.
God is the auto driver who stops to pick you up and he has his two children with. He hands you his precious child and trusts you before he even knew us. He then offers the trip to be free.
God is the person who waves to you and does not even know your name.
God is the lady already in the auto sharing that she knows Jesus and wants you to know him too!
God is the security guard who you shake his hand and greet him with good morning, good afternoon, good evening. He returns the greeting with a unforgettable smile.
God is the disabled child who gets food and runs over to me and offers me his food before he eats.
God is the disabled child who smiles and brings joy to the care takers.
God is the father who is sitting on the street and has his daughter who is wearing perfectly white dress sitting on his lap.
God is the laughter of children!
God is the woman who invites 5 random strangers into her house offers us some thumbs up and seeks prayer for her house, her child and her city
. ..”And if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” romans 8.11
After going to India I am super excited to share God is alive and God is Love. God created us in his image!
Prayer requests safety traveling to nepal that india raises up more leaders. Pray for the leaders who are taking care of the orphans. Pray for adoptions pray for finances for sch and pray that the children can know God. Jesus is great i challenge you to give any of your worries up to him.
