Man should not be alone
This month I have had the privilege to be around many men and children of god. In the bible it talks about relationships and it talks about the value for each person. I have seen in my past how I have had to be alone and on the flip side in constant community working at camps.
God created us in a community. Some of my challenges in my life has been individual working, especially with farming and milking cows you don’t need many people. In the past it was milking cows alone, feeding cows, driving tractor, watching tv, and doing daily tasks alone not always but most of the time. Doing any of these alone is great and many people enjoy it but it is easy to miss community and become unable to handle a community. I am learning the balance and what more I can do with my time and how to foster more relationships.
On the world race their strength is community you are thrown in with a body of believers and you do life together. Believers who follow Jesus christ and want to worship and share Jesus love with the world. Every day we deal with: what we eat, what we see what brings joy to our friends, and we get to walk and meet with people when something breaks their heart. This month I have been learning and seeing relationships. I have seen children play cry share laugh hug run hit sleep eat and of course be messy. This is what you find when you live in a village I see roughly 20 children doing life together. This is also what we are doing as a team we play we push we eat and eat well(thanks Noun Ra’s wife) we worship we discuss we work we build we talk about the future we swim we kill things we cook things(roasted a pig in the ground)#jared we build fires we play with kids we teach we laugh and we laugh again.
When we become part of God’s family, obeying his ways will sometimes cause conflict in our families and sometimes seperate us (mathew 10.35-37) jesus says that our spirtual ties are the closest and most important(mathew 12.46-50) Our true family is the family of God.” this was written by dr. With community i am learning the more you put yourself around christians who are open about their struggles and joys. The body of christ will grow and show fruit, america do not forget how we were raised around people and friends and this is what taught us so much. I pray for my current 6 friends (men on the team) and my friends at cambodia and i praise god for them. I hope you two will seek people out and make fun gatherings to hear and experience life in relationships. I lastly pray for my future experiences and that it will be filled with people I can serve God and share Gods love. God is Great!!
