Listening, how often and how long?

There is something wrong with me!  I want every person to listen to me. I want my restaurant choice, I want my father and mother to listen to my ideas on farming, I want to be heard and be honored. How much more does the father the creator of the whole world wants to direct my path. But Justin Harsdorf needs to stop and wait and create space.

This has been my prayer and growth this month

This month I have been able to experience my listening life.  I started with my past testimonies, hearing god when he told me time and time again that he loves me, or the time where he called me to be a counselor for a camp and baptised 3 boys, or when he called me to GO on the World race and the next year to squad lead.  I can listen to God on the big things. I want to listen in every way!

I currently can hear. Winding blowing through windows, people talking in Romania, and dogs barking.   The growth of listening I will grow in.  To listen to the father and act on what he says.  To know his voice, and to not worry about the consequences of following him.  I pray to listen to every decision I make to invite the father to speak of what he wants me to do.

Psalm 119:2,5 Blessed are those who keep his statues and seek him with all their heart.

Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!

When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:3?-?5 NIV

I will be a servant to Jesus, and do whatever he tells me!
