Wow, month ten gone, history, just a memory!

Where to start! ?!

Maybe at James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

We were able to partner up with Jasper a man who is trying to live out this verse.  He grew up in Hati very poor and as a child he did not know how his next meal was going to come.

Being able to partner and learn from Jasper we were able to see 14 boys who are orphans and under the care of Jasper.  My prayer coming into this month was growing these boys faith.  Growing my faith as well, becoming friends is easy after practice. We leave and friendships fade, but if I increase their faith that is something they can have for a lifetime.

Sharing why we are there to be an example of love and to show them people around the world love them.  Love is a hard one to share especially when one is thinking of themselves.  I have seen that in my life,  however the more I look and pray for what god wants I am able to take away my focus and focus on god.  When walking with Jesus love is much much easier.

So what did we do first, we painted.  Painted?  “Yes”, We were able to paint their big room where they all live.  Everyone has a story about painting their room or helping a friend or how much a paint coat can change a room.  We painted the room a spring green grass color.

Just like psalms 23, he makes me lie down in green pastures.  Painting was a fun start but we did not stop there. Next we would come in the afternoons and just be their friend.  Each day was different and special.   Some days was soccer lead by Eric. Other days dance class lead by Julia.  Other days worship music or learning Creo.  After activities, we would have some songs or a message by one of us on our team.

My two favorite days was listening to Eric give his message in French.  And the day we were able to share our testimony’s with the boys.  A few of the best days that we also participated in was going to the beach, having a Friday party and the last day were we had pizza and got to pray over the boys.  Gii one of the boys was saying bye and said if i don’t see you on earth, I will see you in heaven!!  Funny but true. In 10,000 years from now will I be thinking about that time I didn’t get a coke or didn’t get to go out for pizza or that person is mean to me??

Or will i remember the love God gave me to share his love with his children!! This month i saw child like faith, i desire that and i pray for it.

Obedience and love like Jesus Jesuit ce la moon. I memorized, Jesus is love!

Mark 9:37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
