Saying good byes are hard This last month was so good,  I want to share what I learned, who we were with.  Adventure is to cease the day, to go above your normality to create a feeling or opportunity to trust your strength to fall for Christ.  To use your emotions to better the day for you and others.  Definition via by Justin!

The last month i spent my days in Dominican Republic. (DR)  Our team and three other teams were sent into the mountains into the jungle into the village of lajas.  First off the view, (wow) Jesus often talked about mountains and I see why.  I see why he retreated to them for quiet time.  I see why he talked about mustard seed faith to move mountains. He gave sermons on mountains met with god himself there.  The beauty was breath taking, the water fall was beautiful,  the shades of every type of green was everywhere. If I lived on an Island the mountain is where I would live because of the view and the people.

Our host was Domingas a family who at one point lived in Texas and Virginia and felt the call to come back to DR to serve the church and be a light on the hill.  The wisdom they brought was truly challenging and something I want more of.  There niece named Christin was truly one of the most passionate people I know.  Passionate for the sick, for the old, for the children and for making sure we are doing well as racers.  There was two other missionaries working with us Tony and Jony.  They lived in Texas for most of their lives and after retiring came to DR to help with the harvest!  Tony was a great mentor!  He showed me how short a month is and also how to cease the moment.  We met and memorized verses and talked about knowing who we are, knowing the sacrifice of following Jesus and challenging us to meditate on verses by memorizing them. Luke 9.23,24. Luke 9.62, 1corinthians 6.19,20, luke 14.26.

The next group of people is my bread and butter the people to encourage and uplift and show Christ to. Carlito a 15 year old who called me loco most times because of my spanish or lack of conjugating.  Jason the 19 year old married man who was the guy who took care of the property and horses.  He took me to milk cows one day.  He challenged me with riding a horse, the path was so steep and so muddy at points, he asked me to be his helper and he talked so slowly so I could understand him.  He taught me spanish, we played pool together rode dirt bikes, and did life together.  Jason is a man with great characteristics, that I hope my employees all have now and in the future. The last man was Nani, the dairy farmer the 28 year old who has 4 kids with more then one woman.  To share jesus with him to talk about the joy that i get from christ. What a honor.  To be able to go watch him milk cows.  He even had me milk three of his cows.

The final day,  the final day we were able to go down the mountain and pick up three teammates who were at the beach.  Them asking in Spanish and soon we agree to watch the sunset and go to the beach for a few minutes.  Thirty minutes later after Nani pushed Jason in with shoes and all and the three of us swam as the sun went down. Oh the joys, on our way home we sat in the back talked about life talked about his wife and talked about him learning from Domingas and his uncle who was a veterinarian. I pray for Lajas, i pray for the people there i pray for the future people to come there.  God is good and this month was a good one.

PRAY FOR HATI BOYS HOME HERE WE COME, pray for my future, discipling and encouraging. God is good
