A week in passport leading now what!!
This week has had many highs and lows I hope to share some in this blog!
I am in Guatemala for 3 months!!Uggh say what, I am going to always be taking cold showers, disappointed in my brain on how slow it is with Spanish, the many many humbling experiences of just not knowing, figuring out how to get money to be organized!
A few things, my brain got to think about now the God thing! Building relationships, finding people in need, loving others as jesus would! We had training camp where they told us we would do things greater than I be in the bible. Then we went to the hospital lies set in, the timing was off. Don’t get me wrong we gave hot chocolate to 100 people and bread to them! Yet we want more we want miracles!
On Saturday we rested, rest looks like reading a listening to God book!! Sometimes it looks like just giving God space, sometimes it’s worship just sitting in silence!
So at 11pm, me and 5 woman got in small taxis and headed up the mountain, they dropped us off half way up! We started the climb! This brought me so much life just hiking sometimes talking sometimes taking pictures sometimes talking to an 11 year old girl named Elsa!! And visiting her family and loved ones! She had such a big smile, I told her how to say cow in english!
So it’s Sunday night, well rested ready for teaching high schoolers, ready to see God work and ready to be obeident!
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
