Yesterday we went to a hope care center.
Frank started this vision just over a year ago. There are many locals who work in the service department. This is the biggest economic impact in Dominican republic.
The problem is parents leave children at home and the child is without supervision. Frank works at a hotel and had enough ambition to start this school on the side. The three main goals is education especially English, teaching about Jesus, and providing a meal. We arrived to Susua hope center. The home had been open just 9 months and was filled with kids. We learned about Franks dream of being able to be at the center full time and finish the other side of the building for kids.
I was able to speak a little Spanish, work on flash cards and play with kids!! It showed a glimpse of what I enjoyed and what kids need.
Pray for this care point, they are even thinking about teaching the kids French too!
The day wrapped up with us saying hi to some ocean waves! Getting our feet wet and praising god!
We looked at 1 Corinthians 1 for our night bible study and it talked about us being weak and that is perfectly okay. A humbling chapter!! Peace friends
