Well, we have once agin packed our bags and had to say our goodbyes.  As we drove away from new Hope School our hearts sank and tears were in our eyes as we left behind 200 precious children, an amazing teaching staff and friends will never forget.  We are leaving a large part of our heart in Cambodia.

A week before we left we were informed that the evening English school would be closing.  Our hears sank for our students who were so willing and eager to learn English to better their futures.  We were also sad for the teachers who had become some of our cherished friends.  So instead of teaching the last 3 nights we were there we had party after party and tried to enjoy our last nights together.  Not only were we leaving, but the teachers and the students were saying goodbye to their jobs and school.

At some of the parties my students had for me there were boiled chicken embryo eggs, beef kabobs, burgers, fruit, soda, cake, and lots of ice cream.  I mean LOTS of ice cream. We tried to keep our minds focused on the impact we were able to have on each other and not that everyone is leaving.  We are unsure of the direction the school will go but we are prayerful that God is going to bless our students and fellow teachers.  I wanted to tell you all this because we need some of your prayers for New Hope School, the students, the staff, and their leader pastor Keat.  Please pray that God is working for the good in this situation.  It was definitely an awesome month that we will never forget!
