We have spent this month in the mountains of Nepal in a small town called Kothe. Our ministry was to work with a Pastor and his church sharing the gospel and encouraging the local Church members. We spent much of our time trekking in the mountains for hours to tell people about Jesus and His love. Many had never heard of Him and would sit and listen graciously. We were also able to visit Christian brothers and sisters who lived in remote villages at the top of the mountains. We shared encouraging words and worshiped together. (we mainly clapped while they sang in Nepali) Many of them were the only Christians in that village or on that mountain and have experienced some persecution for their faith. We just wanted to encourage them that it is all worth it and that they are advancing the Kingdom every time they come together. Our time in Nepal has been blessed in every way. The beauty of Nepal has taken our breath away, the people of Nepal have stolen our hearts, and the memories of Nepal will never be forgotten.
