Hello all!

The last time you heard from us on here we told you that we were going to Mkushi, Zambia. Well, at the last minute (literally), we got moved to Serenje, Zambia due to some conflicts of schedules.

It was definitely The Lord because God did so much in and through us while in Serenje. It is almost overwhelming to think about.

While in Serenje, we lived in a village for three weeks. We had no wifi, and little cell signal, so blogging wasn’t really an option.

This blog is just to update that we are in fact alive and well!

We said goodbye to Serenje on Friday, and we are currently in the city of Lusaka in Zambia until tomorrow morning. At 4:30am we will leave to catch a 24+ hour bus ride to Johannesburg, South Africa for LDW (Leadership Development Week).

LDW is a week of teachings and worship together as a squad, all led by US. It also gives us the opportunity to rest and process the month that we have come out of, which is usually much needed.

From Johannesburg, we will hop on another bus and head into month TEN, Lesotho! Which doesn’t seem real!

Please pray for safe travels and for us not to lose our minds with this crazy long travel day(s)…

And in the mean time, we will be trying to figure out how in the world to write about ALL that has happened in the last few weeks so that we can share with all of you who support and pray for us!

I guess for now, just know that after the last few months, we are grateful, and we are forever changed…

With love, Tess and Justin.
