I wish there was some way to transfuse my heart with yours for just one second. For that one second to literally convey the suffocating lies and fears and anxiety spoken to me by the enemy, day after day and night after night, and allow you to breathe in the liberating fresh air of the Lord demolishing those lies with His word. I wish I could impart to you the absolute JOY that has been filling my heart. I desire immensely to ferociously speak over you the identity the Lord has instilled within you so that you may grasp the intensity of the Father speaking that over me.
Oh yeah, this was all at Training Camp.
I can't even begin to scratch the surface of things the Lord broke off of people – emotionally, spiritually, physically (see video below) – it is literally impossible. It's difficult enough to even compose an account of what I experienced, much less the grandeur of everything the Lord did this past week. What I do know is this..
God is good.
There's just no other phrase to encompass as much truths as that simple fact.
Here's a short summary. Over the course of training camp I:
- Sampled food from Asia, Africa, India, Central America and Eastern Europe
- Slept on a bus with 55 people + 55 backpacks and daypacks. Oh yeah there were only 45 seats on the bus
- Cried and snotted more than I would like to admit, but just enough for the Lord to make changes
- Sweated and smelled bad all the time. The only exceptions were when I was actually showering
- Worshiped the King more hours than I can count (!!!)
- Fell in love with a group of people that I (in all honesty) had a literal anxiety attack about on the drive down to training camp
- Discovered identity instated in me as a man of God
- Discovered the deepest affections for the ladies on my squad as beautiful sisters I absolutely adore
- Discovered a continual burning to see the brothers of my squad become strong men of the Lord
- Recognized that the lies of the devil are usually half-truths, which conveniently leave out the beautiful work of the Lord in my life.
- Remembered (and am constantly reminded) that He is faithful even when I am faithless
I am so amped to head out. I am about 99% sure I am meeting in DC on July 3rd for launch. More details later!
