Sooooo I'm lagging behind in blog updates. Standard.
But there's so much to say with oh so little time!
I'm in Nepal. I'm sitting in an MSN internet cafe after having been at a Nepalese church service for a couple of hours. (Oh, and it's Saturday the 4th – we're 9 hours and 45 minutes ahead of NC and 15 minutes ahead of India [hahaha]. Crazy time zone changes!)
We're a little south of Kathmandu doing evangelism with the ministry here. I think we're starting Monday with evangelism. If ever you have been to India and never Nepal, think of Nepal as a nicer, cleaner, friendlier India. The church we're staying at is nestled in a valley of the Himalayan Mountains. We're an hour and a half walk/ride from Thamel where we've seen dozens and dozens of white people and feel more like tourists than missionaries.
But I'm excited to see what this month holds for us, what He holds for us this month, and what He wants to show you. I'm praying that these blogs are a form of ministry to the people that read them – to create in you a desire for more of Him, to create in you a love for the nations, to show you there's been a yearning in your heart to be part of these places, these cultures, and these people.
I'll work on a blog with some more direction later this week but for now I just wanted to let you know the bigger things. What else.. I'll also try to wrap up thoughts on India (even though I'm in Nepal) and share with you some of what the Lord is faithful to teach in the next post.
Thanks for your love and support. Oh I almost forgot.. accounting for the monthly donations to finish out the rest of the year, I am fully funded! If I've talked to you about monthly donations, please continue on whatever we have discussed. If you've started to give monthly, please send me an email to talk about things. My team mates are also in need of funds. Thank you all so much for your donations, your support, your prayers, your conversations, your encouragement, your comments. All of it. Absolutely priceless.
I hope you're all doing well and that the Olympics are exciting and please, drink some coffee for me. I beg of you.
Love you all dearly!

This is literally what we see every day!
