8 is Great!

So we finished a great month in Swaziland and are now moving
into our month 8 country…Mozambique! After spending a bit of time regrouping in Johannesburg, South Africa we
hopped into a van and headed for Vila Ulongue, Mozambique. After passing through multiple “checkpoints”
in which our passports were checked, then re-checked again and again by tough
looking guys with assault rifles we finally arrived. We left Johannesburg around at around 3pm on July
31st and arrived in Vila Ulongue on August 2nd at 5
am. In total the journey took us 40
HOURS! Luckily we had 2 drivers,
otherwise the trip would have taken even longer.   Our ministry contact that we will be working
with this month is Reverend Samuel Bessitala. He was originally born in Malawi and has been a pastor throughout
Mozambique. Currently, he is the local
pastor for a large church in Vila Ulongue, but also ministers to the
surrounding areas. We will be travelling
quite a bit this month helping local churches and doing some construction work
as well.   More details to come! Here are some things you can be praying for:

Strength and Energy for the team ( 7+ months of
international travel can be exhausting!)

Boldness to share the gospel in unreached areas

Spiritual guidance as a leader

That God would continue to show up in BIG ways!

Safety and Protection

Thanks and God Bless!
