I know you're all wondering what in the world I am doing here in Malaysia, and why I haven’t posted any blogs about ministry. The truth is I have not been able to, for the safety of our contacts and the Christian community here. Many of our ministry locations and activities have been “closed” meaning we do not share anything about them until we are out of the country. The Government is Islam and monitors everything here.
I have been through a varied spectrum of ministry experience this month, from extreme brokenness, to inspiration. Malaysia is such a varied and amazing country that you can get involved with so many different forms of missions work here. I have worked out in the jungle far away from any city, doing construction work. I have worked in the heart of the city doing prayer walks. I have worked with local churches and youth doing worship and bible study groups. I have been able to share my testimony in front of large groups of people which is a first for me.
The Lord is here and he is working through these people. I have a lot to share and will post the blogs I have written once I get out of the country.
