Training Camp
This week has seriously been the best week of my life. I have found companionship and community with people who share my passion for Jesus, and for positively effecting the world. I have slept in a tent in torrential downpours, miserable heat and humidity and eaten not so awesome food. Without going into too much detail (all you future racers) I can say that just one week in the presence of the AIM staff and my squad mates HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! The AIM staff are all people who have so much love, knowledge and passion for Christ to pour into you that it is IMPOSSIBLE not to love them.
Three Hundred Tents…
My team is one chosen by God and it becomes very obvious how much prayer and hard work that your squad leaders, coaches, and trainers put into selecting these teams. My teammates and I have the necessary talents and experiences to push each other in the exact ways we need to be pushed. This whole experience has made me realize how much God is moving in each of our lives and how he can work in yours too if you ask him to.
I have $7,100 raised so far! This is so amazing and I am so thankful for those of you who have donated and supported me through prayer. I am still in need of $8,400. I must have $11,000 by december, and be fully funded ($15,500) by March.
