Ok my soon to be Colombian travelling friends! We have a travel to Georgia update for you!

Because your trip has a photo/video/storytelling focus, we want to invite you to come to Georgia a day early to have time to receive some incredible training from our storytellers and marketing team here at Adventures in Missions!

To do this, we need you to arrive in Georgia May 27th instead of the 28th. Keep reading for travel information to Training Camp and home from the field!!

Your training camp will be at the Adventures in Missions office. The address is:

6000 Wellspring Trail

Gainesville, GA 30506

You will be staying at our facility, so you need to bring a pillow and sleeping bag and we will provide the rest!

Arrival Travel information:

If you are planning to FLY in for Training Camp:

From june2020semesters.theworldrace.org

ARRIVE in Atlanta, GA (Hartsfield-Jackson Int. – ATL) no later than 1:00 PM on May 27th, 2020.

When your flight arrives, you’ll likely have time to hang out – go grab some food, meet some of your teammates and take your first selfie together 🙂

At 1:30 PM an Adventures in Missions shuttle will transport everyone from the airport to camp. The specific meeting point is on the lower level side walk between doors LN1 and LN2. Don’t be late!

**Don’t hesitate to ask an airport employee for help finding the meeting spot!

***The shuttle is only for participants who are traveling without their parents. If you and your parents are flying down together, you will be responsible for figuring out your own transportation to camp.

If you are planning to DRIVE to camp:

From june2020semesters.theworldrace.org

You need to arrive at our office between 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM EST.

6000 Wellspring Trail

Gainesville, GA 30506

As soon as you have your training camp travel booked, please upload it to your profile under your Mobilization tab in the Travel section. This information will need to be provided by April 27, 2020.

Departing Travel Information:

After returning from your trip, you will have a debrief in Georgia. Then you will head home the morning of June 29th, 2020. I would suggest to book your tickets home for late morning/early afternoon time so you aren’t rushed in the morning!
