Adventures in Missions & World Race (Merchandise Deal)
We buy all of our merchandise in bulk so we can offer you official World Race and Adventures In Missions gear at deeply discounted prices. All of this merchandise is ONLY available at training camp. If you are interested in purchasing anything, please do the following.

3) Next decide which items (or discounted packages) you want to purchase at training camp and bring enough money to purchase those items. We would suggest between $20-$100. We accept cash, check, or credit cards. However, if you decide to use a credit card we will charge you an additional 4% (there is an additional cost to process credit card transactions).
Father of Lights DVD (Fundraising Deal)
Adventures in Missions has worked out an incredible deal with Wanderlust Productions so you can purchase the “Father of Lights” DVD in bulk. This video is a documentary where the filmmaker goes all over the world to film the power of God on full display. This movie is currently rated 5 stars on Amazon with 89 reviews. Click HERE to read one of those reviews. The following deal includes 25 DVD’s for only $100. This price includes the cost of the DVD’s, taxes, and shipping to your house. These DVD’s normally sell for $24.99 on Amazon. You can sell these DVD’s to raise more money or use them as gifts to donors. Kingdom Journeys Book (Fundraising Deal)
Seth Barnes, the founder of Adventures in Missions, wrote a book called “Kingdom Journeys.” This book contains stories from the World Race and is currently rated 5 stars on Amazon with over 100 reviews. Click HERE to read one of those reviews. This book is great for donors, friends, and family members (especially parents). The book normally sells on Amazon for $13.97, however, Seth is selling these books to World Racers at a huge discount. You will receive 32 books for only $100. A new shipment of 5000 books should arrive at Adventures in Missions on June 1st. This should allow us enough time to get these books to you by June 17th.
FUNDRAISING IDEA #1 (KICKSTARTER)
Below is an example of how to use merchandise as a fundraising tool. You could include the following information in a blog, a support letter, or setup a computer displaying this information at a fundraising event. On your blog, I would suggest creating a page like kickstarter.com (click the link to the left or view the example below). You can also check out other fundraising sites like gofundme.com, crowdrise.com, indiegogo.com, and rockethub.com for more ideas.
Pledge $5 or more (possible 3100 people needed)
You will be signed up for my blog and receive a personal thank you from me.
Pledge $10 or more (possible 1550 people needed)
You will receive a printed color newsletter with updates before, during, and after the trip.
Pledge $20 or more (possible 775 people needed)
You will receive a prayer bracelet.
Pledge $50 or more (possible 310 people needed)
You can select your favorite picture from my trip and I’ll send you the printed version.
Pledge $100 or more (possible 155 people needed)
You will receive a book called “Kingdom Journeys” which contains stories from the World Race. This is a great way to follow along with my journey and know what I’ll be experiencing on this trip.
Pledge $250 or more (possible 62 people needed)
You and a guest will be invited to a thank you dinner after I return from my trip. During the dinner I will recap my trip with pictures, videos, stories, and answer any questions along the way.
Pledge $500 or more (possible 31 people needed)
You can select one item (t-shirt, baseball cap, journal, ultimate Frisbee, etc.) and your donation must be received by 00-00-13.
Pledge $750 or more (possible 21 people needed)
I will come to your house to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for your family and do my best to answer questions about the trip. You must live within 5 hours.
Pledge $1,000 or more (possible 16 people needed)
I will babysit your kids or animals for the weekend. You must live within 5 hours.
Pledge $1,500 or more (possible 10 people needed)
I will clean your house, do your laundry, cut your grass, and wash your car. You must live within 5 hours.
Pledge $2,000 or more (possible 8 people needed)
You will receive a large framed picture from my trip or a picture book recapping my entire experience.
FUNDRAISING IDEA #2 (TOP 25 POLL)
Post a weekly Top 25 donor poll each Sunday [I would not include donation amounts]. Tell your donors that on a certain date (00-00-13) you will select the top 25 donors and they will receive a DVD called “Father of Lights.” You could also give the top donor or even the top 3 donors additional prizes. An example would be to give the top 3 donors similar prizes like the $750, $1000, and $1500 pledges listed above (see fundraising idea #1). Explain how the "Father of Lights" video will give them a glimpse into what you might experience on this 11 month journey.
FUNDRAISING IDEA #3 (GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE)
You could establish 3 levels of monthly donor giving using different merchandise.
1) Gold Giving Level = for $75/month or more a donor receives a "Father of Lights" DVD
2) Silver Giving Level = for $25/month or more a donor receives a "Kingdom Journeys" book
3) Bronze Giving Level = for $10/month or more a donor receives a WR prayer bracelet
