Hey guys,
I just have something quick to throw out at you. As I’ve been talking with you and hearing about how things are going on this support raising journey, there has been a consistent theme that involves many of you. And that is that your parents aren’t really on board with you going on the World Race, and/or that they are set on not supporting you financially. Because I’ve heard this same occurrence several times in the last few days, I’m thinking it’s time to pray.
What would happen if we all devoted some time this week to pray for the W Squad parents? What could God do? What are you asking Him for within your own relationship with your parents? How are you blessing them and honoring them? I’d challenge you to spend some time interceding for them, asking God to give them peace regarding you joining the World Race. Ask for grace to cover your conversations with them, that you’ll be able to share your heart with them openly and that they will receive that. Begin asking and believing now that God is going to do something huge in their own lives throughout this next year.
So there you have it. Let’s all join together and pray for our parents! It’s the holiday season and many of you will be spending quality time with your parents these next few weeks. I pray that this time is rich!
