Good morning my fellow W(ow) squad 🙂
I've never written a blog on here before, so I'm gonna give it my best shot!
This morning I woke up with a heavy burden on my Heart about the discouragement that have come up against this squad. I prayed, and I felt the Lord wanted me to remind us of who He is, by leaving some scriptures for us to take rest in while we go through some of the many transitions we are facing.
I want to remind each of you that God has called us, and has a plan and a purpose. He is a FAITHFUL God, who I know will provide every need that this squad has. Here are a few scriptures I found this morning, and I want us to use them to fight the enemy when he comes up against us. the Word of God is our sword, and it's time we start cutting down the enemy with it! If you have more that you would like to add, please do! I've learned that often times while I intend to encourage someone else, I am encouraged myself.
Discouragement in Fundraising:
"The One who has called you is FAITHFUL, and He WILL do it. ~1 Thess. 5:24
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" ~Psalm 37:4
"Now all Glory be to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think" ~Ephesians 3:20
"You did not choose me, but I CHOSE YOU, and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Then the father will give you whatever you ask in my name" ~John 15:16
– Remember Wow(ers) God has already provided every amount of money that you needed, probably before you were ever even a thought…because God has created you for such a time as this…and He is faithful to complete the good work that He has begun in each of us (Phil. 1:6) And YOU have FAVOR with the King of Kings!! (How awesome is that) 🙂
Fear and Worry:
-I know, as time approaches, many of us have faced fears of many kinds. Leaving our families, safety, money, the unknown, etc. and sometimes it all become VERY overwhelming. The enemy wishes to keep us in a place of fear, so we'll always be too afraid to move outside of ourselves and trust God, so we will not want to fulfill the work he has created for us to do. However, we know better…and here is what he doesn't want us to use against him 😉
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." ~1 John 4:4
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of Love, Power, and a Sound Mind. ~2 Timothy 1:7
"But He said to me 'My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in WEAKNESS'…
~2 Corinthians 12:9
"But now thus says the LORD who created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you." ~Isaiah 43:1-2 (All of Isaiah 43 is pretty amazing, though) 🙂
-Also, I encourage you to look up Psalm 91 and read it through. I have been praying it each morning and God has really encouraged my heart, and helped me to realize He truly is the great protector…in all situations.
When we feel to "small" for the job:
-I think this is one that I struggle with the most. Wondering, am I capable of such a LARGE task, but God has reminded me that He has equipped me with everything that I need to be what I was called here to be…and if I don't have it, then i don't need it. 🙂 God isn't looking for the Best (the disciples were the most UNqualified Men to actually be disciples, and still Jesus CHOSE them for the task of following Him and carrying His Gospel to the world) God isn't looking for qualification, He's looking for WILLINGNESS.

"And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love Him, and who have been called according to His purpose." ~Romans 8:28
"But you are a CHOSEN generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light…"~1 Peter 2:9
"The gifts and calling of God is irrevocable." ~Romans 11:29 (Once you've been called, that's it! You're called! God will never take it back 🙂
"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." ~Ephesians 2:10

-That's all I've got for now, but I hope it's helped someone! I encourage everyone to add their own, and write down the ones that really speak to you…Learn them, and Hide them in your heart…So when the Enemy attacks, you have PLENTY of ammunition to go around 🙂 Love you all and I am praying for you daily! I know God has GREAT BIG PLANS for "Dub" squad…and He WILL see us through to success! All for HIS Kingdom!
