Wow. Talk about training camp being right around the corner. We're talking days and soon to be hours away. We're already here and getting ready for you all. It is going to be absolutely amazing times twenty.
Obviously you've already met my prettier half [Mr. Bill Swan]. And now I wanted to give you a few details about myself. I am from the wonderful state of Minnesota. Born and raised. I grew up in an incredible home with two younger sisters. I heard the truth about Jesus for the first time when I was in high school and gave my life to Him that very night. It cost me my friends, but it has given me my life.
After high school, I went to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and walked away with a Bible degree. I married Bill one month later and started the whole college deal again that fall. It took me another three years to get my RN. We spent those years living with college friends and trying to avoid the horrific traffic as much as possible. Six months later we went on the World Race [M Squad] and six months after our return we hit the field again with you guys!
And there you go. That's me. I'll trade you any piece of meat for your vegetables. I'd rather run a marathon than sprint a mile. And I'm just as excited [and nervous] for the coming months as you.
