Hello Everyone,

So my support letters were sent via mail a couple months ago but in preparing more letters I have found that there are a lot of people who I do not have physical addresses for. So for those who I do not have a physical address for and for those who prefer to read things online, here you go.

The support i have received through prayer, emotionally, and financially is  only something that could be provided by God. I am so grateful for all of you and find myself changing everyday through this journey. If you have questions about my choice to go on the race please reach out to me, I would love to answer any questions you may have.

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I wanted to give you an update on what the Lord is doing in my life.  For the past few years I have worked for Omni Hotels and Resorts in Dallas, Texas and Connecticut. My career with Omni has been very rewarding and successful and I am thankful for the opportunity God has given me with this amazing company. I have been given another amazing opportunity and blessing from God to join The World Race for the 11 in 11 mission trips. I have felt the calling to apply for The World Race for a while now but never had the confidence to apply because of the fear that would overcome me every time I thought about it.  Through the grace of God, I was able to overcome that fear and submit my application.  And, a crazy thing happened, I was accepted!

In the past, I have volunteered with my home church through missions in Mexico, Jamaica, and Florida as well as locally in our own community. My first mission trip in Mexico in 2008 really opened my eyes to what God can do for those in need through people, like me, who want to serve him by serving others. During my past mission work I have done things such as help build homes for the homeless, teach bible study, and hold a church camp for children and adults from the age of 12 to 25. When I heard about The World Race about two years ago I knew I was immediately interested in the organization and the idea of traveling the world and serving God in multiple countries. While, at times, I wish I had applied sooner I know that God was waiting for the right time for me to overcome my fear and apply.

The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it is not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution due to human trafficking and bring restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. The countries I will serve in are Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Nepal, India, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Romania, and the Ukraine. I am excited to see what the Lord does through our team, and also what He teaches me through this experience.

I am writing to you because I want to share with you this excited and life-changing experience. I also ask you to consider supporting me on this mission trip. Will you help me advance the Kingdom through your prayers and financial support? The cost for the World Race (included food, lodging, transportation, traveler’s insurance) is $18,200. This amount does not cover needed supplies, including a tent, backpack, and vaccinations. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and can be made online through me WR blog (juliewatson.theworldrace.org) or by mailing a check to:
