Man, fundraising is a roller coaster ride I don’t think I was prepared for. It takes time, commitment, and a lot of letting to and letting God. But man is it FUN, kind of. I have made it to my second fundraising goal of $10,000 which means I am officially able to launch in January!!! My next goal is to final goal of $18,200.

Thank you so much for your support financially and especially through prayer. Without you none of this would be possible and I am so excited to share this experience with you pre-race and during the race through blog posts, etc. PLEASE subscribe to keep up to date everything WORLD RACE on my blog post by pressing “subscribe” – it is an orange button.

It is hard to put all the emotions I am feeling in writing but to say I am EXCITED is an understatement, after meeting my squad, squad leaders, and squad mentor I am soooo at peace with this calling from God. I still have occasional nervousness that I am in over my head or not good enough for the race due to my past but one thing that helps me more than anything when I am nervous, GOD.

Oh man, God is good he has lead me through this preparation more than I ever thought he would. He has been patient with me, listened to me and showed the plans he has for me. Reminding me every day that I only need to be patient and let God lead me in this process because if this is what God desires it WILL happen.

Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the Lord, be strong, and let you hear take courage; wait for the Lord!”

Fundraising is hard, fun, confusing, rewarding, surprising, and it takes discipline. This is not something I can do with out you, through your prayers, your emotional support to help keep me focused, and for those of you who feel led, your financial support.

Right now I have a fundraiser called “Adopt of Box”, with the adopt a box (see photo below), you pick a box and donate the number in the box. If I get EVERY SINGLE box donated it comes out to $5,200 which puts me just shy of the final goal of $18,200. WHHOOOOAHHHH!

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This process has opened my eyes to what God is capable of and made me even more excited to take a year to travel the world to share Gods word with those who have never heard, to love those that don’t feel loved, and to care for those who can’t care for themselves.

Don’t forget to subscribe on the main page of the blog to stay updated, I wont always have access to contact everyone I would like to so I hope to keep everyone updated through my blog as best I can.
