This is just a quick update blog. We are headed to the airport in Kuala Lumpur soon where we will spend the night on the airport floors (good thing we travel with sleeping bags and pads) and catch a morning flight to Phnom Phen, Cambodia! Our team, Crash of Love will be heading to Siem Reap, Cambodia for the month where we will be teaching English… at least that is the plan as of now. 🙂
Our month in Malaysia finished up well. Our third week was spent in Tankaak, Malaysia with a pastor and his family. We enjoyed staying in their home and getting to know the kids, Ester and Samuel.
The last few days have been such a blessing! We got some much needed rest and relaxation at the Solomon household. Their family adopted us, provided us beds, showers, delicious meals, showed us around Kuala Lumpur… It was a great time! They went above and beyond for us, making their home a home for us as well. Jay, the wife, cooked us Western foods- we had pizza and spagetti, she even found some ice cream made in San Francisco and bought it for us. We truly felt at home and enjoyed having “parents” looking after us again. 🙂 We will miss them so much!

We’re looking forward to our next month and travelling with our squadmates! Until next time…
