I wanted to make a picture blog to share memories from El Salvador.

We’ll never forget our laundry mistake. Lesson learned, do laundry in shifts and only wash them if they’re REALLY dirty.

Memories learning El Salvadorian foods from Jackie.

Giving talks and participating in church services at Teen Challenge.

Visiting schools and talking with the kiddos.

Riding in the back of trucks…

And sometimes being rained on while in the back of the truck.

Seeing how fortunate we are to have homes in the US. The before and after houses some of our Canadian missionary friends helped make happen.

Playing with kids!

Organizing food to hand out to the community.

Talking on the radio and sharing about our trip.

Getting to visit small churches in the country.

Getting to meet up with friends from Cal Poly who are doing missions this year in El Sal as well.

Hiking to the waterfalls and making new friends.

Saying good-bye.

We’re already two weeks into ministry here in Honduras, but are so thankful for the time we had in El Salvador and the lessons we learned there: have patience, trust that God is always good, and have fun!
