I have been blown away by the unity I have seen displayed in the body of believers here in China and around
the world this last two weeks. I have a dear friend Lina that is in the hospital here in China and at first we had no idea what was going on other than she was not waking up out of a coma and pressure was building in her head.
The latest is that the Dr. think it might be Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Although she cannot open her eyes, and is almost entirely paralyzed, she can still move her feet, and has been responding to yes or no questions by moving her feet whenever (and only) when asked specific questions. From asking her very specific questions it has been discovered that she has able to understand us this whole time! She seems to be mentally cognizant, though she still cannot open her eyes.
Please join me in praying that the doctors will have wisdom, and that the paralysis will be healed completely.
Through all of this I have never been so sure of how Amazingly Good our God is!!!
There are literally over 900 people praying for her and these people are from almost every nation of this world.
I have been encouraged by how the Body has come together to support its own.
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one
member but many.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-14
