So part of our ministry here is door to door, which means a lot of walking up and down small paths though the mountain side. So the other day we were doing our thing and we were at these two ladies home. We asked if they wanted prayer. They said yes. One of the ladies had a pain in her side that had been there for years. So we prayed. While we were praying I got this picture in my head of an organ and it had holes in it that were bad so I prayed that God would sew up the holes. Then I prayed that God would let the fluids flow through it the way He made it to. Then the prayer was over. We asked her how she felt…. She said the pain was gone!!!! I know that in those few moments that God healed her.
It was amazing to be a part of how God wanted to touch this woman’s life and ours.
Today we went to another home. After we talked and prayed for them one of my teammates asked them if they would sing for us. They smiled and said yes. So they started to sing and I recognized the tune. They were singing How Great Though Art in Swahili. It was amazing!!!! As I sat there I was filled with the love of God. It was flowing all around that home and filling my heart.
It is still amazing to me how we can speak different languages but when it comes to worshiping God it is all the same. It is our hearts giving praise to our Father who is more than worthy to be praised.
"Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises." Psalm 98:4
