So I have spent the last three days sanding a piece of Mango Steen. Using three different types of sanding tools on a warm day in Thailand is not what I would call fun.

But today while I was sanding alone in the little building God started to speak to my heart.

That wood is like my life. It has dents and marks that happen with growth and life. God has the sander in His hands and He is making my rough spots smooth. Sometime He needs the power tools and it hurts a lot but other times He is using only a little pressure with His hands and a bit of sandpaper.

Like that piece of wood some of the “marks” are left because it adds character to it, so some of the things in our lives God uses to make us more Beautiful.

It takes time and a lot of work for it to be completed. I’m thankful to God that He is working in my life. That I am worth spending the time to “sand” so I become more Beautiful, more of the Woman that God has made me to be.
