So here in Malaysia when you go caroling the people you are singing to provide you a meal. I know it is so different from what we are used to. My team and I have gone caroling 4 times here and every time at the end I feel like I’m going to explode! You see you can’t be rude and not eat at every house because that can be dishonoring to them. So I tried to just eat a little bit at each house (we went to about three each night). But they saw that and keep telling me to eat more!
It was a great experience and I had a blast! I think we should do this in the U.S. but not whole meals at every house maybe just some finger foods.
I even got to eat these meals with my hands as the people we are working with this month are Indians from India and that is how they eat.
I will always have fond memories of how I spent this Christmas and how I ate more than one eats at Thanksgiving!
Yeah for the Forth (or fifth or sixth) Meal!!
