This month was a big question mark. We had no real idea what Mongolia would be like and in turn what our month here would look like. Even as we were flying into the country all we saw was the countryside…it was beautiful but there was literally nothing! It made me even more curious what the month was to look like. you just never know on the race…you can guess but you’ll probably be wrong so its better to just go with it and find out when you find out (Aka. when you walk in)

So what has this month turned out to be? Well we are living in a church that is basically two rooms with a kitchen and one bathroom. Oh right and we have 17 girls in one location haha!
Its been amazing thus far, during the day we kinda get to make it our own…go out and make connections, get the grocery shopping done or laundry ..we’ve spent our time at coffee shops, playing frisbee, teaching english in college classrooms, making connections with campus crusade and such. Then every evening where we live there is a different activity that we get to invite people back to like game night, English night or open mic night and its a blast! There are several young people in the church so they come over every night and sometimes its just us and them and other times we have new friends too just based on who we’ve met that day and what relationships we’ve established.

We are living inside the city limits … but its so neat because its like city and then you can see where the city stops and the countryside begins and its just hills after hills and they are so gorgeous. The landscape is stunning here …its unlike any other we’ve come across on the race and we are loving it! Its also the first cold temperatures we’ve experienced on the race which was a hoot when we arrived and had only packed clothes for living in South East Asia for the year! So we took to the markets and handled the situation! We are all warm now and its actually turning into spring here !

Our main goal has been to make a friend. Just go and make a connection.

We got to hear about the history of the church we are with and it amazed me! They have seen it all and Papa has been on the move here in tough but amazing ways! They have seen it all: miracles, healings, raising of the dead, prophecies etc…I personally loved hearing about their influence in the city and in Mongolia! ??Anyway ! Theres a snapshot of this month! ?Continue to pray for us as we finish this race well! We’ve only got about two months left! Still raising money for my plane ticket home if you’d like to help out with that last leg!??More coming soon!!!!
