“Three days.. I died, went down to hell and got the keys to freedom, then came back to life .in.three.days….What is there thats impossible in my name?”
Papa reminded me of this again about a week and a half ago when I was looking at the $1,700 I needed to meet my financial deadline to launch on the World Race two and a half weeks from today.
As the days counted down and I saw some money come in day by day I was still wondering if it would all be there. There was a moment that I told Papa “I trust you, you’ve told me to go and you will always provide for those you send. If I’m still supposed to go, the money HAS to be there in time – otherwise we are gonna have a talk about what you are wanting in this next season”
So the waiting began…and hope rose with each day… with each donation.
There were a few days I had some serious thoughts about if Id be okay if He pulled me away and told me “not yet” …I just asked that if he was going to pull me away and postpone that he’d prepare my heart to walk away.
Three days.
$$$$…its nothing compared to what was accomplished those three days
Shoot…if we were going to go off that timeline then He had plenty of time! We had 11 days and the goal was SO much easier..just $1,700!! thats nothing compared to THOSE three days!
But where is it ?
So with two days to go and questions floating in my head, I logged on after work to check that support balance not knowing what to expect or hope for.
My jaw dropped as I did some quick math and saw my fundraising total thus far:
$7,500 to meet the deadline and my total was at $8,336!!!
In just TWO DAYS Papa brought in $1,500..like it was no big deal.
Not only is the deadline met, but it means that Ill get to for real launch with my squad in just two and a half weeks – we will kick off our 11 months in India!
Hes a God of the details…He cares, knows, sees and is on top of His game! And if He is all those things then its just up to me to obey and trust that His word is good!
And if you haven’t heard: I am SO THANKFUL to each one of you who has given towards my World Race! Im stoked for this journey we will get to experience together! Id love prayers for these days leading up to launch – so much to take care of and have ready so that I am able to leave well 🙂
