Today I realized just how beautiful having a language
barrier is in reality.

When we arrive at Daughters we usually enter through the
daycare center.  I don’t tend to
dawdle in that area but head upstairs to make sure that I have everything in
order for the Hands that Heal training I’m doing with the social workers.

Today was a little bit different.  Instead of heading upstairs right away I lingered in the
daycare center.  I noticed that
there were two little toddlers that were just really listless and just needed
to be loved on.  So, I sat down on
their little mats and just started talking to them like they understood.  But then I remembered that they had not
a clue of what I was saying to them….and neither did anybody else around
me.  So, instead of talking to them
I started to talk to God and pray over their precious lives.  Let me tell you, I was so excited to
have the language barrier for once!
