Our little hotel/hostel is about three blocks from the main road of Sihanouk Boulevard. We pass that corner A LOT!  On our way to the grocery store, on the way to Daughters, on the way to many places!
The first morning that we were here I went on a walk with a few others from the team. When we came to the intersection this is what we saw…rows and rows of mopeds! It was overwhelming!  We figure that they must rent and sell the mopeds…I think it would be fun to rent one 🙂
The first week or so we really became frustrated in the attempt to find food.  We have a very limited budget so we needed to stay within that.  We kept hearing about all the street vendors but for some reason we couldn’t find them.  Well, one night in the evening around dinner time we headed down towards Sihanouk Boulevard.  The change was astounding!  Gone were all the mopeds and in their place were street vendors with their fried rice and fried noodles, and plastic tables and chairs.  It too me a day or two to figure out where all the mopeds disappeared to.  I finally saw them moving them indoors–very close together.    What a transformation!
