One of our last days in Draganesti, my dear friend Justin got a vision for me. He said, “I see a compass on a map, it’s pointing you in a certain direction. But all the sudden, a hand comes in and flicks the needle so it spins around and around, like you’re not going to go the way you thought you were.”

He didn’t know what it meant, and neither did I. I started thinking forward, really forward, to my plans after the race. That was a little confusing, because I don’t really have any plans for after the race yet, but I didn’t know what else it would be pointing to, so I shelved the vision and figured God would come back to it later.

Well He came back to it all right, about 1 week later.

Debrief. Brasov, Romania. Team changes. You see where this is going I bet.

In a nutshell, I have a new team! Team Radiant, some pretty cool cats.

Never in a million years did I anticipate being moved to a new team, and I'm not sure why. Mostly I thought I'd be kickin it with Reckless P all the way through month 11. Obviously, God had some other plans for me.

Needless to say, I was shocked when I found out. I'm pretty sure I sat there on the floor with my mouth open for about 1 whole minute. Then I burst into tears. What an awkward annie. Then I ran over to my new team and felt excited! Roller coaster of emotions. I sure am going to miss living life with my friends on Reckless P.

But even in this short week I have been in Kolentsi, Ukraine with my new team, I have seen all the good things God has for me with these women. They are strong, beautiful, hilarious, accepting women of God, and I know they are going to love me and challenge me and be a ton of fun to do this whole World Race thing with for these next months.
