Unsung Hero: someone who is tirelessly working for the Kingdom of God, serving and loving the least of these, and doing it without resources or support.
Do you know anyone like this? Anyone who is just out there loving, out there doing it, operating with what little they have and trusting God to provide more?
This month a part of my team's ministry here in Bolivia is looking for these people, these unsung heroes. AIM has started a new Unsung Heroes Campaign, with a simple goal:
find and identify unsung heroes to tell their stories and partner with them to broaden their reach
Cool right?
We have the opportunity to find the people who are out there on the grind for Jesus, and come help them. A huge part of our ministry this month is seeking these people out through networking, connecting with them, getting to know them, going to see them and their ministry, spreading the word about their ministry by telling their stories, and at the end of it all potentially partnering with them by sending future World Race teams to come work with these currently undetermined people.
SO my question to you is — Do you know anyone in Bolivia?!
Do you have any connections to people or organizations or churches or anything who might be able to help us find unsung heroes? If you know anyone, friends of friends or distant acquaintances, would you pray about sending their info my way? You never know who might be able to lead us to one of these beautiful, undiscovered, people of faith 🙂 God can do crazy things, am I right?!
I am really excited about who or what God might lead us to this month. And for any of you out there who are thinking about going on the Race someday or have kids or friends or family who might go one day or who are currently gone… you might be able to help influence their experience! Someday future Racers could be coming to Bolivia to work with the people we find here in need of partnership!
Keep praying for us that God would bring His workers into our paths! I'll keep you posted.
