MEET MY TEAM
This feels a little anti-climactic, since my team name and my team members are already nicely displayed down the side of my blog, but I’m going to introduce us anyways!
We are a unique blend, kind of like potpourri. We are herbs, flowers, spices; some of us might even be the wooden bowl.

Because we are all so different, one of the first things our team wanted to do was ask God to show us what unites us as we searched for a name to capture the spirit of our team. Potpourri does not happen by accident, and neither did we.
We talked about our stories, passages and truths that really move us, and what we want our team to be about this year as we do life and ministry together. The more we talked and threw out ideas, the more the theme of a Reckless Pursuit emerged.
It all starts with God. He is pretty reckless to pursue us; it makes no sense that He would love us and chase after us so furiously. It makes even less sense that He would choose to use us, broken sinners, to do His Kingdom work here on earth.
But the coolest part is that God’s reckless love for us frees us to love others recklessly. And that is what team Reckless Pursuit dreams of doing this year. We want to step out boldly to truly love others, knowing that we can’t actually fail, because God has already won.
I am so excited to run after God and His people all around the world with this team of saints!
We pray for unity, empowerment, open hearts, and to love and serve with reckless abandon.
