Just a quick update for everyone! I will post a more in-depth blog later. So far the Lord has been CRAZY good and I have raised about $1,000 towards my plane ticket. I do however have a HUGE favor to ask. If you’ve been praying about giving financially towards my trip, but aren’t sure yet another way you can help me out in a huge way is by donating airmiles (skymiles) towards the purchase of my plane ticket. Maybe you know someone who travels a lot and loves missions.
Right now the prices of tickets have gone up significantly in the last week, and are now running at around $2,500. After that the price point increase to around $4,000-$6,000.
If I can’t purchase the ticket by early next week I’ll need to postpone my trip to a later date, which I really don’t want to have to do at this point. Our busy season in my department is going to be right after I had initially planned on getting back from my trip, so if I postpone it will have to be in later summer or early fall before I can reschedule.
Please pray for wisdom for me and for financial provision in these next steps. I know that I am supposed to this please pray for me. Please consider how you might be able to help me. Thanks friends!
