I am in Swaziland!! It is still a little unbelievable that I am in Africa. It does not look near what I expected, but when I think about it, I didn’t really know what to expect. There was a small hold up at the Atlanta airport, causing us to leave late and travel in two separate groups. But, God completely provided for us through the entire 96 hours of travel.
When they did not let us on, we all went back to the central area of the airport, while some of the leaders talked things over with the airline. As I was talking with my family, a man saw our World Race t-shirts and asked about the trip. This man happened to be a speaker and author. He blessed me with some encouragement and he gave me both of his books. His name is Mark Cahill. I would definitely recommend you checking out his books and ministry. He is incredibly passionate about sharing Christ in every situation and just loving every person he meets.
London was a blast. We had about 5 hours to run into the city after collecting our luggage, changing airports and trying to figure everything out. We hit up some of the tourist hot spots, including Big Ben, Westminster Abby and Buckingham Palace. My favorite was lunch at a local pub because it gave us a glimpse of the culture.

We spent the night in Johannesburg, South Africa, since we were waiting on the rest of the team who left a day late. Finally, we reunited with our team and took a bus into Swaziland, where all the January racers met us.
Thanks you all for your prayers! I miss you. Much love!!
