This is a difficult blog to write. I am not sure I can express the way you have truly impacted my life and the lives of the people I come into contact with everyday. Your prayers, encouragement, financial support and love are a true treasure to me. You are literally Jesus to me as you constantly and consistently send your love and prayers. I see Him in each of you, and in each email, letter, blog comment and act of support. Even as I eat my meals, I am taken aback by the way the Lord has provided through you.
Just as you have celebrated me, by believing in me enough to sacrifice your time, money and energy, I want to celebrate you. I appreciate each of you.
Not only have you provided an exceptional avenue for me to come face to face with Christ every single day and to be completely transformed, but you have given to so, so many people around the world. You will never be able to know the magnitude of lives touched through your prayers and financial support.
You have given the children/teens in South African squatter camps a week to dive in to the love of Christ. You have held orphaned babies in Swaziland and provided food for them. You have given a bible to a HIV positive man in Swaziland. You have made it possible for the Jesus film to be shown in Mozambique. You have provided food for an orphanage in Mozambique when they had none. You have not only given bargirls in Thailand a night away from the bars, but you have spoken life, beauty and worth into them. You have provided bicycles for missionaries in Cambodia. You have given Bibles to students in Cambodia and provided them with the education they have been stripped of in the past. You have allowed us to share Christ with people in China. You have provided Bibles for prisoners in the Philippines. And this is only a small sampling of the ways you have impacted peoples lives. You prayers have transformed hearts! And you have been with me every moment, as I pray for someone, as I give a hug, as I speak God’s truth and as those around me and I encounter Christ each day.
I pray that you are receiving the intimacy and presence of God 10-fold. And that the sweetness of our Father is resting heavily upon you.
Again, I am unendingly grateful for you and your support. Thank you for challenging me. Thank you for sharing this adventure with me. Thank you for believing in me enough to send me out.
