We are two weeks into our ministry here in Guatemala. We are familiar with our daily ministry schedules. We have cleaning schedules to maintain orderliness in Casa Verde. We have two- to three-person committees to help organize and plan each of our different ministries. We have a team prayer meeting every morning before breakfast. We have nightly feedback sessions with our teams. We are learning more and more about each other as each day passes.
So what is our ministry in Guatemala like? Here is a typical schedule:

Sundays
Morning: attend a church service and/or assist with church ministry
Afternoon: free time/special occasions
Evening: attend a different church service

Morning: intersession and prayer with our ministry contact
Afternoon: play with orphans at a nunnery
Evening: visit bars and minister to prostitutes

Tuesdays
Morning: prayer walk with our team throughout the Casa Verde neighborhood
Afternoon: visit a children’s hospital
Evening: attend an evening church service

Morning: prayer walk and worship in the local markets
Afternoon: visit an elderly home
Evening: attend an evening church service

Morning: prayer and prophesy with Team Cherished (my team)
Afternoon: build rapport with prostitutes at local bars
Evening: hang out at the local park with soccer and basketball players and break dancers

Fridays
Morning: pick up trash in the Casa Verde neighborhood
Afternoon: visit the city dump and minister to the adults and children who work there
Evening: Family Night! (i.e., spend the evening at Casa Verde sharing testimony, worshipping, etc. with all who are involved in Ministerios Casa Verde)

Saturdays
Free time with our teams! We take an excursion to the beach or some local waterfalls!!!
