Wow. God is so good. In Month 5 (Ukraine), I was finally at my wit’s end and began disliking my team and even began disliking being here on The Race. I felt like all the fruit and growth from Month 4 (Romania) was just going to be a memory. All I could do was continually pray for God to get me through the month and teach me how to love and give grace to the six women of Majestic Summit. It was a struggle each and every day while in Ukraine to choose joy and be patient with my team. But then, out of the blue, God rocked my Race.

Two of my three squad leaders came Sunday, May 27 to visit our team in Ivankiv. Within an hour of arriving, they told me that God has abundantly confirmed that Amanda Fackler’s and my time with Majestic Summit has come to a close, and we will be joining Team Heart Refinery. My first response was, “Uhh, say that again.” I had no idea changing teams was in store for me nor was I praying about it, but it is exactly what I needed. I didn’t realize I was desperately in need of big changes. We will be joining a team that is bought-in to wanting growth and change. Heart Refinery strives to be a team that embodies unconditional love, grace, and vulnerability.
God has gifted me with the ability to lead by calling people up into greatness (i.e., identifying where someone is at and telling them that there is more). My squad leaders are asking me to call out and then call up these team members into even more growth than what they have had in Month 5! I am so excited for this change and am honored to join this team. We (Heart Refinery and Majestic Summit) spent Month 4 together in Romania; this is a huge blessing because I got to know Missy, Nathan, Dan, and Chase fairly well and look forward to getting to know them more on an intimate level.
God has crazy/awesome challenges and celebrations in store for me on this new team beginning in Tanzania! Amanda prophesied that God will reveal new spiritual gifts to me as well as “wreck my month” here in Tanzania. Oh man, Africa is going to rock our boats and deepen our spiritual growth.
