Other than computer classes it feels like we haven't done much. Due to the accident we lost about a week of ministry and then we jumped right into classes. We got to fly over Mt. Everest which was AMAZING! One of the coolest things that happened this month was when two of my teammates were running one day and met a girl our age named Pramila. She is Hindu, but we all feel like she is so close to becoming a believer. We have gotten to know her really well this month. She says she wants to believe in Jesus but believes that there are many gods and is in a really confusing spot. She is in Kathmandu because her sister is really sick. She has a lung disease but the reality is that she is dying. We have gotten to go to their house several times and visit and pray for her. Last week Pramila even came to church with us! It's been a beautiful friendship and I am so excited to see what happens with that whole situation. The hearts of everyone on my team is so broken for them, we are desperate for them to know Jesus and it hurts to leave Nepal and them not know him. So please be praying for Pramila and Urmelia.

Also, this past week we got to go to a village for a few days. We were all upset about missing the first village so we were thrilled to get to go to one!  The hiking was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Seriously. I didn't think I was going to make it. The first day we hiked 9 miles going up rock steps the whole time.It was a crazy couple of days. Sadly, my teammates saw each other at our worsts haha. But we loved each other through it and now we can just laugh hysterically about everything that happened. If you want a play by play check out my teammate Kelly's blog http://kellygauthier.theworldrace.org/?filename=this-aint-no-fishtale-this-is-real-life  Although it was hard it was worth it. The scenary was probably some of the most beautiful scenery I will see in my entire life. The people we met were incredible. So loving and generous. There was miscommunication and due to our slow hiking we didn't get to do the children's program we thought we were going to do but we got to pray for and enourage everyone we met along the way.

This month for me hasn't been the easiest. It's been physically, emotionally, and spiritually hard. This month has been one of learning and practicing full dependence on God. After the accident, doing computer classes, dealing with Pramila and during the hike all I could do was lean on him. These were things that I could in no way deal with on my own. There were times I was frustrated, angry, and sad and I had to trust in him and believe that everything would be okay and that everything going on was for a reason. I was more desperate for the Lord's presence in my life than ever before. I was stretched and challenged in more ways than I wanted and it wasn't easy. It hasn't been easy but I know I'm going to look back at this month and have nothing but love for it. I have grown so much and it's a beautiful thing. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side.
