Before getting to our ministry site for the month during the few transition days I spent some time in prayer about what I wanted and what the Lord had for me this month. It may be the last month but I'm still expecting big things from God. The biggest thing he put on my heart was BE LOVE. My team pours into me so well and they often encourage me telling me how I love people well, but this month I want to love until it hurts, whatever that looks like. Even though I may be tired and home is so close I can feel it, love in ways no one expects. Well thank you Jesus that I get to work at a childrens home everyday 🙂 I get to be love to these precious precious kids, and show some love to the workers too.

So yet again, the kids have stolen my heart. It seems to be a common occurance here on this crazy thing called the World Race. Every month there always seems to be at least one kid that grabs my heart, this month I have a whole house full of them 🙂 The children's home we are living at/working at is full of some of the most precious kids I've ever met. Being here has only confirmed my desire to adopt kids some day and got me super excited about it. My respect level deepens every single day for the house parents here, anybody who has a job like this, or parents in general really. Some days are really long and really hard, I don't know they do it. I have loved getting to know some of the women who work in the nursery side (the youngest kids, who we help with most) and watching them love on these kids as if they were their own.

I try reallllllly hard not to play favorites…but this little guy is definitely at the top of the list. A wise friend once told me it's okay to have favorites as long as you make every one feel like your favorite. I have noticed this year that I always seem to be drawn to the trouble maker kids. He is a handful. He gets in trouble quite a bit, but deep down he has the sweetest soul and has an adorable side to him. You just have to see past the pure craziness 😉

This little girl. Oh man. She was the first kid that I talked to. I'm not sure how old but she is incredibly smart and knows English really well already. She surprises me everyday. I wish I was allowed to share her name because then you know that it fits her SO well.

Here are some other nursery kids. They each are adorable and I love spending time with them. I can't wait to have kids of my own one day.

So the nursery side has 8 kiddos, the ones pictured above. I spend most of my time with them. But then upstairs lives the older kids. I am so impressed by them. They immediately welcomed us with open arms and continue to love us and enjoy spending time with us. I'm thankful most of them know English so we can communicate really easily. I love that they are so good with the little ones. They love each other so well. They are incredibly willing to help out and enjoy doing it.

Gosh I could go on and on all day talking about these kiddos. But wanted to give you a little glimpse of my life these days and what I'm up to. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement. They mean more to me than I could ever tell you!
