Worries.
Confusion.
Anxieties.
Fears.
All of Creation.
God has been reminding me recently that He is above all of these things.
All powers. All people. All things that exist.
He is above it all. He is powerful and He is mighty!
Psalm 95:3
For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods.
1 Chronicles 16:25
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.
(Notice the little “g.” God is the only real G)
(sorry not sorry)
But for real- not only is He incredibly powerful and great, his love is the exact same way.
Romans 8:38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers. Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
There is nothing that can stop the love of God. I believe this with all that I am. It does not matter what we do or how much we resist, God’s love will conquer in the end.
There is no amount of worry that can scare off God’s love for you or for anybody else. There is no amount of chaos that is too much for God to handle. There is no level of anxiety that God cannot calm, penetrate through, and replace with his perfect peace. There is no fear too great for God. There is no chain of bondage that our God cannot completely demolish.
NOTHING is more powerful than the power of Jesus-NOTHING!
Let that sink in.
The God that loves you very specifically, is also the most mighty and powerful. Everything falls underneath him. The oceans push and pull at his command, and he holds your heart and cares so deeply for you.
My mind is beyond blown. Thank you, Jesus, there is power in your name.
