Greetings from Nepal!!! ????????????
This month our ministry looks very different then any other month on the race so far!!
This month we are working with a ministry that is focused on helping hurting people! Whether that is women working in dance bars, children and adults living on the streets, people facing addiction, or even travelers looking to find something!! They go out and just talk, create relationships, and love people like Jesus loves!!
With this ministry we also get the opportunity to create our own ministry from what the lord is calling us to do!!
So you might be thinking, Julia where do the sandwiches come in??
Good question well when I was walking the streets to the grocery store I was overwhelmed by the amount of people that we asking for food and money on the side of the road! All people from old grandparents to very young children.
That night when I came back to our house I went to the Lord and just asked him, “What am I supposed to do? How can I help?”
The answer was clear go out in the town, pass out sandwiches and food to people and just love them and share HIS love with them!!!
So I am coming to you all with a challenge and to ask for help!!
God has given me a number of 25 people that I want to reach!!
Now you might be wondering how in the world does Julia want me to help when she is in Nepal and I am not!!
Well let me tell you.
The biggest is Prayer!! Prayer for the people to have open hearts, prayer that I am able to make relationships with these people before sandwich day, and just over all prayer that these wonderful people will feel God’s love through sandwiches and snacks!!

Peanut snack
Granola bar
Crackers
Raman noodles
Cookies
Juice
Bottle of water
a dessert
A bar of soap
A toothbrush and toothpaste
And tissues
Also for just $6.50 you could provide everything above and also a can of tuna fish and a package of sanitary products for the ladies on the street.
So for 1-2 coffees at Starbucks you could help one of my new friends in Nepal with some basic needs!!
