After three days of straight travel, four different plane rides, and an overnight stay in the Kolkata airport, I am excited to say we have arrived in the Manipur region of India.  We are staying outside of Imphal, the capital of the Manipur state as an entire squad with a ministry (Partnership Mission Society) that runs a seminary, school, hospital, child sponsorship program, and more.

Each day we will be doing different ministries from visiting villages, mobile medical clinics, excursions to the hills to unreached people groups, serving in the hospital, encouraging seminary students, and helping with vacation bible schools.  This place, it’s people, and our hosts are wonderful.  I can’t begin to describe the beauty as we are surrounded by hills with villages dotted in between.  It almost feels like I am in the mountains of Colorado rather than in India.  It wasn’t until we walked through the commercial part of the village that I remembered in am in fact in India.

I can’t wait to share blogs with you about our hosts, the people we meet, and what God does this month.  I wanted to put up this short one to update you about where we are!
People are mostly in good health which is a huge praise, my only issue thus far for me has been struggling at sleeping as I have been waking up around 4AM each day unable to go back to sleep, so if you wanted to pray for that it would be greatly appreciated! (though that is why you are going to be getting some good blogs as I have had lots of time as others are sleeping to work on them…)
