For team time, Heather got us Chinese (or Japanese) floating lanterns! It was a real hit, until a couple of them almost burned down the village. No problem. It really ends with a BANG (literally) when we decided to shoot off giant sketch village bottle rockets! Heather almost lost all of her fingers, and our hearing is just now coming back. It was the most fun I’ve ever had!
The lanterns symbolized us releasing things to God. We wrote down all of our hang ups and bonds that we can no longer control or carry with us. We each prayed over one another in a really touching moment and let our lanterns float up to the heavens. Honestly, it was beautiful. Check it out below!
